A little over a month back I wrote about how it’s possible for Barclays cardholders to get a $25 statement credit for opting-in to receive paperless statements. Good news, those statement credits are posting and along with many other reports mine posted several days ago.

The description of the posted transaction is titled “PROMO STATEMENT CRT,” so be sure to check your statement credit if you opted-in for this promo.

I was not 100% certain the statement credit was going to post on my account since I had previously agreed to receive paperless statements. I simply turned off paperless statements and voila the targeted $25 promotion to enroll in paperless statements showed up on my next account log-in. If you went this route it appears you should also be receiving your statement credit.

  1. Sweet! Just lowered my $89 annual fee for the 50k miles sign up bonus to $64 (+$1 to hit spend requirement for $25 paperless offer).
