There is yet another great hotel booking discount promotion, this time Hot Wire is offering $30 USD off when you book a 4-star or higher "Hot Rates" hotel. The promotion says it will go until March 2, 2015, but these deals often end sooner due to popularity.

This could be a great way to book some cheaper hotels for almost free as there is no minimum reservation amount. To maximize the deal you can book one night stays back-to-back and the $30 off will apply each night.

How to Get the Deal - $30 Off Hot Wire Hotel Booking

All you need to do is go to Hot Wire and search for a hotel.

The only caveat is that the promotion only applies to Hot Wire's "Hot Rates" which offer a "mystery" or opaque hotel. You're given the number of stars and general vicinity within the city, but won't know the name of the hotel until after booking.
