Via Point Me to the Plane, it seems there is now an even higher targeted 85,000 miles and $50 statement credit welcome bonus available on the Chase United Explorer credit card. As there is only a single data point regarding this offer, time will tell if it is official or not.

This increased offer is targeted and is being sent out via email, so be sure to check your inbox! If you qualify for this offer and will not be denied due to Chase's 5/24 rule then this is an amazing offer to go for.

A month or so back there was rumor of Chase releasing an all-time high 70,000 mile welcome bonus on the United Explorer card. This offer has since gone live and you can check to see how to get the best targeted offer.

85,000 United Miles + $50 Credit

It appears United is sending out targeted emails to MileagePlus customers offering an even higher welcome bonus!

The offer is for 80,000 United miles and a $50 statement credit, plus an extra 5,000 United miles for adding an authorized user (OFFER EXPIRED)

Here is what the targeted email looks like:

"For a limited time, earn 80,000 bonus miles with the MileagePlus® Explorer Card. Simply use the Card and spend $3,000 on purchases during the first three months. Apply now with your exclusive link — this offer ends on June 30, 2016. $95 annual fee†

Earn miles:*

•80,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months your account is open with this limited-time offer that ends June 30, 2016.

This product is available to you if you do not have this Card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for this Card in the past 24 months.

•$50 statement credit after spending $3,000 within three months.

•10,000 bonus miles every calendar year you spend at least $25,000 on purchases with your Card.

•Two miles per $1 spent on tickets purchased from United® and one mile per $1 spent on all other purchases."

The Bottom Line

This is by far the highest offer I've ever seen on the Chase United Explorer card and is 50,000 miles higher than the standard 30,000 mile welcome bonus. If you receive the email and are targeted for the offer it's definitely worth going after if your under Chase's 5/24 rule.
