ABOUT

Well Traveled Mile

Well Traveled Mile (WTM) was launched in 2012 by founder Rand Shoaf with one simple mission: help travelers maximize their rewards points. From day one we've done this by publishing well-researched, reader-friendly articles that help you reach your travel goals. Almost a decade and 1,000s of articles later our brand continues to grow and our work continues to be featured around the web in some of the largest media outlets.

We know the miles and points world can be overwhelming. That's why we love digging deeper and analyzing the fine print to help you travel farther with your points.

The bottom line is: we are excited to make your next travel adventure reality! And don't be shy, we love hearing from readers who successfully used points to book what others would call a 'once in a lifetime trip'. The best part is, we know you're just getting started!

Meet the Team

Our team eats, sleeps and breathes miles and points. We love learning the nuances of rewards programs and providing the most in-depth articles to help readers travel for less.

Introduced to traveling at a young age, Rand has since traveled to over 45 countries. Learning how to maximize credit card sign-up bonuses in college has allowed him to earn millions of travel miles and points. Using the same tips and tricks he writes about here has ultimately allowed him to explore the word for pennies on the dollar.
