The ‘old version’ of the American Express Blue Cash is available again. This card gives you unlimited 5% back on gas, grocery and drugstore after $6,500 annual spending. This is the ‘old version’ of the card that was hugely popular in the past for manufacture spend methods, such as Vanilla Reload cards. The card has no annual fee.

The Amex Blue Cash is one of the all-time best cards for manufactured spend since it has an unlimited 5% drugstore category.
This card is not for you if you spend less than $6,500 a year in the three bonus spending categories (groceries, gas, drug stores) because you will be getting 0.5% on most purchases and 1% on the bonus categories.
If you spend more than ~$12,025 on groceries, gas, and drug stores then this card is a good deal and you will earn ~3%+ back.
And finally, if you do manufactured spend at CVS, then there is not contest this card can be hugely lucrative.
There are also reports of people having success switching existing Blue Cash cards into the ‘old version’ that offers unlimited 5% back.
