Just a couple quick updates on some miles and points news—US Air cardmember referral bonus miles are posting, 100k Hilton HHonors points for Diamond members, and new $2k limit on purchased Amex gift cards. Here is the lowdown:
Barclays Refer-a-Friend bonus miles are posting
A little over month ago Barclays released a refer-a-friend offer for existing US Airways MasterCard holders to earn 5,000 bonus miles for each person they refer who applies and is approved.
Sure enough when I logged into me Barclays account a few days ago I noticed that new miles have been added to my account. They show as miles that are earned so far this billing cycle, but have yet to post to my US Airways Dividend Miles account.

100k Hilton HHonors Points for Diamond & Gold Members
Per Flyertalk, Hilton is offering Diamond and Gold elite members up to 100,000 HHonors bonus points. The promotion appears to be targeted and offers vary from up to an easy 100,000 free bonus points, a stay and earn 100,000 bonus point offer plus 2-3x bonus points on stays, and double elite qualifying nights for each stay to qualify for status in 2016.
The most lucrative offers seems to be targeted at Diamond members who have retained status for a year or so and continue to have it for the upcoming year.

$2k Limit on Amex Gift Cards Via Cash Back Portlans
It looks like $3,000 Amex gift cards are no longer eligible to earn cash back through cash back portals. Now the highest denominator possible to qualify for cash back on Amex gift card purchases is $2,000.
Also, Top Cash Back is offering 2.25% cash back today only. If you’ve been waiting to grab some Amex gift cards this is a great chance to earn some extra cash back in doing so.
