Club Carlson Radisson

Burning Through 188,000 Club Carlson Points for $2,000+ Worth in Free Hotels

188,000 points….poof! I decided to book some hotel stays for our upcoming trip exploring Turkey, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Croatia and ended up burning through 188,000 Club Carlson points. I am looking forward to checking out and staying 8 free nights in some of the most luxurious locations the Club Carlson brand has to offer.

The free award nights exclusively available to Club Carlson Visa cardholders are really a superb deal when you book all of your stays for just two nights–you are getting a free night for every night you book! I do consider these nightly redemptions a great value and with the free bonus award nights I value Club Carlson points at around 1 cent per point. Since can buy Club Carlson gold points for .7 cents per point it really shows how you can get extra value out of the bonus award nights.

Since we are planning on traveling from city to city for a month it worked out perfectly because we won’t be staying in any one place for more than a couple nights. The only exception is in Istanbul. With four night planned in Istanbul, I decided to book two nights at each Radisson Blu, rather than booking four consecutive nights using two different Club Carlson accounts. The hotels are close to one another (less than a mile apart) so the move is fairly painless and I would rather see two different hotels and different parts of town, plus stay in Taksim over the weekend to enjoy the nightlife. The hotel in this part of the city will be opening in June, so it will be brand new as well so expect a review! Here is a glance at all of the properties the award nights are booked:
