Over the past year I have had a great experience with Club Carlson, both with their co-branded credit cards and hotel stays in Europe.

I find the value from Club Carlson’s loyalty program to be one of the best among hotel brands, especially so because cardholders get the second night free when they redeem stays of two nights or more.

Today Club Carlson released their winter promotion which can earn you 38,000 Club Carlson points after spending three nights at any of their properties. This isn’t as generous as their promotions in the past, but it’s a great offer if you plan on staying at a Club Carlson hotel.

The three nights stays can be at any Club Carlson hotel and must be completed from now until April 13, 2014. The eligible stays have to be purchased, so you can’t use points or cash + points.

You can register on Club Carlson’s website and also see the full Terms & Conditions.

The three stays don’t have to be at the same hotel, but you must register before checking out from your first stay.

If you’re planning on staying in a few Club Carlson properties in the next few months, then this is an easy way to earn 38,000 points. This is enough points to stay at any 1-4 category Club Carlson property, but it’s not enough for stays at their top-tier hotels (category 5 & 6).

Even though they are not top-tier, there are some very good category 4 properties across Europe that you easily get up to $200 worth of value from redeeming 38k points.

Overall this is a very straight forward promotion by Club Carlson and can be useful for you if you already plan to stay in Club Carlson properties before April.
