Earn Double Southwest Points Nationwide Now Through May 15

Register now to earn double points on every flight you take on Southwest Airlines from now through May 15, 2013. You can also earn double Tier Qualifying points on flights to/from Milwaukee on a concurrent promo Southwest is running. Just register for both promos here before travel. (Register for one offer, and you will be automatically registered for the other.)

As per the promo on Southwest’s website:

If you already booked a flight on Southwest and didn’t register before, remember that Southwest doesn’t charge change or cancellation fees. To be sure you will get double points on upcoming travel, check your scheduled flights again and to see if it is worth canceling your ticket and rebooking it. It will be worth it to rebook if you can at or near the same price. Southwest points can be particularly valuable because they can be redeemed for up to 2 cents per point, so do the math and decide if its worth it.

The Bottom Line: You will earn 24 points (instead of the standard 12 points) per dollar spent on Business Select Fares, 20 points (instead of 10 points) per dollar spent on Anytime Fares, and 12 points (instead of 6 points) per dollar spent on Wanna Get Away? Fares.
