Uber is one of my favorite ways of getting around when I need to catch a ride in a large city. Last year, I found it priceless for navigating around Washington D.C. and saved a ton of money vs. paying for regular cabs. If you haven’t used Uber yet, there are great reasons why you should, with the first being that you can get $45 worth of free Uber credits!

New customers can get $45 worth of free Uber credits by simply signing up and using an Amazon Local Coupon.

First sign up for Uber here to get a free $20 Uber credit. Normally there is a $20 free credit for using a referral link (thanks if you decide to use mine!) If anyone has a better referral bonus,  you can post it in the comments and I will add it to the post.

Then get the Amazon Local Coupon here for a free $25 Uber credit (new customers only). Offer expires on 12/30/13.

Next download the Uber app to your phone and apply the Amazon Promo code to your account.

Congrats, now you have $45 worth of free Uber rides!

Other reasons why you should use Uber:

It’s often much cheaper than using a cab.

You can call or request a ride easily using the app.

You don’t need cash, your account will automatically be charged.
