I decided to run a comparison and breakdown the number of hotels each program has in each category.
So, here’s a table of how many properties each hotel program has in each hotel category. Also included are links to the list of properties within the category (less IHG, which does not publish this to my knowledge).

Below I included every hotel program’s award chart (with a direct link to the page on the hotel’s website) as a resource to have them all on one page and easily compare program-to-program. Hopefully between this table and my hotel award chart comparison it’ll be easier to look-up the cost per night in points and relative value per award night.

Nice information. Thanks. Perhaps along with the # of hotels in each category you could also show percentages (so Hyatt might have 15% or so cat 1 properties while Hilton is close to 1%)
It would be interesting to see what the breakdown is! Mostly I ran into sizing issues with the width, but I’ll see what I can do with another version of it.
