Roros, Norway

After a long drive over mountains and through dense forests we found ourselves in Røros, Norway. It is a small town in the Gauldalen region of Norway. After arriving past dark we wandering quaint dimly lit streets where I snapped this photo. The town center itself is only several blocks long.

Our bed and breakfast there was charming and provided one of the best breakfasts I ate while in Norway—full of fresh bread, cheese, and cold cuts. One of my favorite parts of Røros were the narrow winding streets lined with old buildings, all with traditional greed roofs.
