Hyatt Credit Card Promo: Get 20% Points Back on Award Stays Until July 31, 2015

Hyatt just launched a promotion offering Hyatt Credit cardmembers to get 20% of their Hyatt points back after they redeem. For instance, if you redeem 10,000 points for an award night you will get 2,000 points back.

The email sent out to cardmembers had the subject line “Get 20% of your points back after you redeem,” so check your inbox or register via this page.

You must register by March 31, 2015 and eligible stays must be booked and completed from now until July 31, 2015.

The promotion appears to be targeted for existing Hyatt Credit cardmembers. The terms say to be eligible for the promotion the cardmember must receive the promotion from Hyatt and their account must be in good standing as of January 31, 2015.

That said, YMMV and if you have the Hyatt Credit Card and did not receive an email it may still be possible to register.

You’ll get 20% of your Hyatt points back when you redeem points for full points award nights, points + cash nights, suite upgrades and also any points redeemed for dining and spa activities. Note that points redeemed for Avis car rental certificates and points transfers to airline are not eligible to receive the 20% points rebate.

“As a valued Hyatt Credit Cardmember, you can now get 20% of your points back after you redeem.1 It’s easy:

STEP 1: Register for this promotion by entering your information to the right before March 31, 2015.

STEP 2: Book a stay with points and complete your stay before July 31, 2015. Keep in mind, free nights start with just 5,000 points at any Category 1 property.2

STEP 3: Get 20% of your points back. Your points will be deposited directly into your Hyatt Gold Passport account 4-6 weeks after your completed stay.

It’s that easy. Keep in mind, the more points you redeem for free nights, room upgrades, and dining & spa awards, the more you’ll get back.”
