Update: The offers mentioned in this post for the credit cards below may have expired. You can view the current offers here: Ink PlusInk BoldInk Cash.

Chase is offering a limited time increase of 70,000 Ultimate Rewards point sign-up bonus on the Ink Plus Business Credit Card. This is a amazing deal for this card as the highest sign-up bonus offered in the past has been 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points. The bonus is now public through Chase.com and available to everyone, this is shortly after Chase offered the increased bonus through Refer-A-Business links.

For several months a similar offer of 70,000 Ultimate Rewards points has been available within Chase branches, but up until now there was no online application for the card offer. Personally I much rather apply for credit cards online than walking into a branch.

This offer triumphs the past offer of 60,000 points by an extra 10,000 bonus points, but you will also have to pay the $95 annual fee which is not waived the first year. The extra 20,000 Ultimate Rewards points are easily worth paying the $95 annual fee.

Some of the highlights of the Ink Plus Business Credit Card include:

  • Earn 5x points for every dollar spent (on up to $50,000 annually) at office supply stores, internet/wifi, TV/cable, and telecommunications.
  • Earn 2x points for every dollar spent (on up to $50,000 annually) at gas stations and hotels.
  • NO foreign transaction fees
  • Transfer Ultimate Rewards points at a 1:1 ration to valuable transfer partners.

Should You Apply for the Ink Plus Business Credit Card?

The 70,000 Ultimate Rewards points bonus is among the best sign-up bonuses ever offered for the Ink Plus Business Credit Card. For this reason it is certainly a great time to apply for the card and earn an incredibly valuable sign-up bonus.

One of the most valuable aspects of the card is that it earns Ultimate Rewards points that are valuable for travel rewards redemptions. Ultimate Rewards points can be transferred to many valuable transfer partners (United, Hyatt, British Airways, etc) at a 1:1 ratio, which is also why they are flexible for any type of travel.

Another reason this is a card to keep in your wallet is the 5X and 2X bonus spending categories. Using the card for office supply store purchases, and to pay your cell phone and internet bills can earn you a hefty amount of miles. You will earn 5X points per dollar spent on these bonus categories and 2X on gas and hotels.

The Bottom Line

Now is a great time to go for the Ink Plus Business Credit Card and earn 70,000 Ultimate Rewards points. Given that this is the highest public bonus offered on this card, it is certainly worth a look. If you don’t have this card yet the sign-up bonus makes it a top choice, especially after considering the value you can get from the bonus spending categories along with the option to transfer points to valuable transfer partners.

That said, as far as strategy goes it may make sense to grab the Ink Bold Business Credit Card before it is phased out by Chase and save the Ink Plus Card for the future. Overall this is an incredible bonus from Chase and shows great potential that some solid valuable public offers will be around for awhile.
