How To Earn More IHG Points at 0.7 Cents Each
The IHG Rewards Club Select MasterCard offers a great welcome bonus and is a great way to rack up thousands of extra IHG points and also earn a free night every year. The card does have an $49 annual fee which is considered low for a valuable co-branded hotel card.
You can also 'buy' IHG Rewards Club points for 0.7 cents each using the "Points & Cash" method. In this way you are essentially purchasing extra IHG points during the booking of a flexible rate and when the reservation is canceled the instead of getting a cash refund the purchased points are deposited into your IHG Rewards Club account.

Bottom Line on the IHG PointBreaks Fall 2015 List
The Fall 2015 IHG PointBreaks may be hit of miss with your travel plans, but if you can make a participating hotel work it's a great way to score a IHG hotel for only 5,000 points per night!
It's disappointing to not see more InterContinental or Crowne Plaza properties on this list as were offered in the past few years. Over time the lists have grown less luxurious and there is only 1 InterContiental hotel and 8 Crowne Plazas offered on the Fall 2015 list.
At the end of the day IHG PointBreaks is always hit or miss and if the hotels happens to work with your travel plans it's a great way to book IHG hotels at an incredibly discounted rate of 5,000 points per night. If not, well there's always next time, right?
